Eric S. Levy
Eric S. Levy is the founder of DVS Designs knife and leatherwork. He is a stock removal maker, primarily using 1095 and spring steels with all work being done by hand. In addition to knives, he makes high quality custom sheaths, tomahawks and various hats, belts and all things leather all hand made.
He started making knives in 2016 in his garage with an angle grinder, a Dremel, and a home made forge. He was able to overcome a slow start and set backs through the interaction with online knife groups and receiving advice from experienced makers and throwers at live throwing events.
Chris Davy
Chris Davy founded Davy Designs in 2020 as a small one man hobby based shop with the desire to make throwing knives with a more aesthetic flair for the knife throwing world.
He started making knives after he developed a love for throwing and wanted to bring more style to his personal collection of throwing implements. With other throwers expressing interest into his less contemporary designs, his personal hobby turned into a small business. He continues to expand on what works both aesthetically and effectively by making every curve look good and serving a purpose.
All of the throwing knives he produces, come from factory fresh 1075 high carbon steel, heat treated and tempered in house to an average hardness rating of approximately 52.
